Marie King, is St. Joseph's preschool director. She brings 37 years of education experience to her preschoolers and has spent the last 29 years at St. Joseph School. With a bachelors degree in education, and certified in early childhood education, Mrs. King keeps St. Joseph Preschool at the forefront of education utilizing the latest best practices in reading, technology and early learning. Her ongoing training and education includes annual early childhood workshops at Concordia University, Nebraska Reading First Training, and the nationally recognized Boys Town Education Model, a premier school-based approach that focuses on managing behavior, building relationships and teaching social skills. Mrs. King also volunteers with Domesti-pups, an organization that helps socialize dogs being trained in the penitentiary to become service dogs.
