Sara teaches 4th Grade at St. Joseph's School. She is from Neola, Iowa, but moved to Lincoln to get her B.S. in elementary education from UNL. She decided to stay in Lincoln to teach in a Catholic school after spending two summers as a Totus Tuus missionary and one year as a substitute for the diocese and falling in love with Catholic education. Something that excites her most about second grade is preparing her students for First Communion! Her passion is learning and she enjoys trying new teaching approaches in her classroom to make sure every child is being reached. Outside of school, she loves spending time with family and being outdoors.
