Dear Friends and Family of St. Joseph School,

I’m pleased and humbled to be the principal at St. Joseph School. Growing up in Lincoln and graduating from St. John’s and then Pius X, I feel I bring some unique perspectives to the role.

First, as a team builder, I believe this position must be able to earn and maintain the trust of diverse groups including staff and parents. I hope to model and support a team-work oriented and collaborative work environment where people look forward to coming to work and sharing their expertise with children.

Secondly, as a communicator and relator, I believe this position is vital in communicating our value to the broader Lincoln community. The ability to speak well, communicate with diverse populations, and intentionally listen with empathy are important elements with which I have much experience, professionalism, and competence.

Thirdly, in the area of educational leadership, I believe that I will provide leadership to teaching staff on curriculum and instruction, pedagogy, classroom management, and student achievement. I will also strive to model my faith as a devout, albeit unworthy, servant to our Lord in His Holy Church.

Finally, while academic achievement is important, I also recognize that we must develop each student individually and that all students, regardless of their academic ability or challenges, are welcome and will be supported through differentiated learning and collaboration with our public school partners. I feel I will be able to do this just as I did when working with St. Joseph as a public school Coordinator.

I am truly excited for and looking forward to my time at St. Joseph and hope to build strong relationships throughout both the school and Parish. Please feel free to contact me at 402-489-0341 or Kevin-Naumann@cdolinc.net.

Thank you for the warm welcome to the St. Joseph family. I am,

Yours in Christ,

Kevin L. Naumann
