Diana Shum brings over 20 years of teaching experience to St. Joseph School families. With a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, Mrs. Shum offers her third graders academic instruction that sparks their interest and imaginations. She enjoys exploring new science and math lessons in her classroom – her favorite subject areas, and has implemented math games as part of her weekly lessons. Mrs. Shum has received additional training and education in multiple areas including the Boys Town Education Model, School Community Intervention and Prevention (SCIP), Nebraska Reading First, the Sonday Reading System, Guided Math and more. Her classroom also participates in Junior Achievement, a collaborative partnership with business leaders to teach students business and economic concepts.
