Hello St. Joseph community! I am so excited to be a part of the team, working in kindergarten this coming fall! My name is Christa Lux. I graduated in the Fall of 2023 with a degree in early childhood education from Grand Canyon University. I am from a small town in north west Iowa and moved to Lincoln in May of 2023. Living in Lincoln has been such a blessing thus far and I have really grown to love this area! Back in Iowa I have an amazing and supportive family that I love going home to and visiting when I have free time. Some things I love to do in my free time are baking, working out/running, getting coffee with friends, reading, and shopping. As a first-year teacher I am looking forward to building community within the school and connecting with students and families. I grew up strong in my faith and involved within my church, being able to teach within a catholic school is such a privilege and I am more than excited to be able to help shape young minds and encourage students to grow in their faith as well.
