Ann Osterman brings 25 years of teaching experience to St. Joseph School families with specialized expertise in behavior management and special education, and over 24 hours of graduate coursework. A recipient of the KFOR Teacher of the Month and the Catholic School Teacher of the Year awards, Mrs. Osterman offers her 6th graders outstanding academic preparation combined with social skills coaching. In addition to teaching during the school year, Mrs. Osterman worked for a summer behavior management program in Sheridan, Wyoming for four years in which she taught students and teachers the Systematic Training and Effective Parenting (STEP) model, wrote the program handbook, and supervised the program for one year. She was also invited to Denver University as a guest speaker to discuss the program. At St. Joseph School, Mrs. Osterman is involved on the Study Skills and English Committees, and is a Student Council sponsor. She also co-founded a summer book club for middle school students, now beginning its ninth year.
