Mrs. Amber Scott is St. Joseph's special education coordinator. She is passionate about student success in the classroom, and is excited to continue implementing the inclusionary model here at our school. She also looks forward to building collaborative relationships with students, staff and families of Saint Joseph’s. Amber grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she attended Cathedral of the Risen Christ for elementary and middle school and graduated from Pius X High School in 1998. She currently lives in Wahoo, NE with her husband, Seth and three kids Austin, Katelyn and Ava. Mrs. Scott holds her master's degree in education, with an endorsement in special education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to working at Saint Joseph school, she worked at Millard Public Schools as a resource teacher for grades K-5. Mrs. Scott lead several staff developments and committees during her time in Millard, and also was the leader of the Response to Intervention and Instruction Team - a program which has recently been introduced at St. Joseph's to great effect.
