Sports Registration

St. Joseph’s School offers 7th and 8th graders the opportunity to participate in Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Golf and Track. Information concerning the start dates and schedules of these sports can be found at cysi.org and will also be made available to your child.

On this page you can find our Sports Registration Form. Please fill it out and return it as soon as possible. Signing and returning the form does not obligate you to pay any money or commit your child to participate, but will save time and effort later should he or she want to play.

There is a one-time $50 participation fee that goes toward operating costs, league fees and a jersey, which your child gets to keep. Whether your child plays one sport or all of them, the fee is $50 one time, NOT $50 per sport. If you need assistance paying the fee, please let the office know and they will find a way to help.

The Catholic League is a non-competitive league. While score is kept and all participants give maximum effort toward winning, all members of a team get to play. Playing time will not always be equal, but an effort is made to make sure that all members contribute. The Catholic League is always looking for coaches. These are a volunteer positions, but practices are only 1-2 times a week and go from right after school until 5:00 or before. If you are interested in donating some of your time to coach our kids, please let us know.

Finally, we are blessed with a great facility and thus are often asked to host games. Traditionally here at St. Joseph’s the parents have been asked to keep score, book and take money at the gate. Recently the scope of parental responsibility has been narrowed to taking money at the door. This job still allows you to watch your child participate. We would appreciate your willingness to help in this manner.
